The Local Land Charges Institute’s aim for this certification of competency is to provide the opportunity for all who work and are involved in maintaining the register to demonstrate and evidence their specialist knowledge and skills required for this role.

The role of maintaining the Local Land Charges register is often missed or forgotten within the wider Local Authority and County Council functions but it is important to recognise and celebrate the excellent work and the key skills of those who work and manage the register.
