Transition Payment Scheme

Transition payment scheme for local authorities transferring to HM Land Registry’s Local Land Charges service. On 26th April 2021, the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, The Rt Hon Steve Barclay MP, announced the introduction of a £26 million transition fund, for local authorities in England and Wales.
